Imagine hundreds of socialist speakers presenting radical alternatives to students and the local community at campus forums around the country month after month. Imagine a nation-wide network of radical forums where articulate, impassioned Left-wing speakers regularly challenge the neo-liberal consensus on war, inequality, climate change and economic crisis. Model Charter for campus Radical Alternatives
The Radical Alternative Forum at [YOUR UNIVERSITY] is a student-run organization with the educational purpose of promoting free inquiry and discussion of ideas to the left of the liberal/conservative consensus. Forum members agree to abide by the general constitution of the Student Association and to respect the rules of the institution. They plan, organize and publicize regular public meetings of the Forum including lectures with invited speakers, debates, round-tables and other informational or cultural programs – always followed by an open discussion period.
